I’m Sumi Lee, a graphic designer based in New York City.
I was born in Seoul, South Korea, grew up in Shanghai, China. I studied Communication Design (BFA) at Parsons School of Design. Also being a printmaker, I am passionate about incorporating physicality to my design work.

I believe the greatest charm of design lies in its flexibility. In today’s digital, contactless era, media plays a larger role in people’s daily lives than ever before. Amid these changes, I believe the design of all the information presented through media profoundly impacts this new era. Therefore, I strive to become a flexible designer who endlessly explores suitable forms and delivers both convenience and uniqueness through designs that evolve in
countless ways.
